Instructions:
1. Decide where you want your raised vegetable garden bed to be.
2. Using a shovel, dig out the area to be your garden bed.
3. Using a rake, smooth out the area and level it as best as possible.
4. Measure the dimensions of the area and using a marker, draw out the outline of the bed.
5. Cut four 4x4x8′ pressure treated posts to the dimensions of the bed.
6. Using a stake, drive it into each corner of the bed.
7. Tie a piece of string between each stake, creating a square.
8. Using a circular saw, cut along the string lines, creating the outline of the bed.
9. Drill 2 ½” holes into each post, spacing them evenly.
10. Insert the posts into the holes and pound them into the ground until they are firmly in place.
11. If desired, paint or stain the posts to match your garden.
12. Cut a piece of PVC pipe to the length of the bed and insert it into the holes in the posts. This will help to keep the soil from eroding away.
13. Add soil to the bed and plant your vegetables!
